Voere Kufstein, 22lr , Self Loading Rifle
This paticular rifle (Mod2115) was made in 1973 according to date stamp on barrel and it has survived extremely well over the last 36 years

Great shot of the breach/reciever where you can see the top of the magazine in place as well as the
barrel and the indent for extractor next to where the firing pin strikes onto the ‘rim’ of the cartridge.

Buttpad looking a little bit worn but original.
Foregrip chequering.
With the Parker-Hale moderator fitted- it makes for quite a long rifle but well balanced all the same.
Also visible are the Talon swivel studs I fitted as the originals were missing.
Easy to hold,bring up to the shoulder despite it’s length with the moderator, note the use of the grip in
front of the trigger. Not sure if this is supposed to be used as a palm rest/grip but it certainly serves the
purpose when target shooting enabling you to bring your elbow ‘in’ to support the shot being taken.
Well I have now had the stock redone by having it french polished and I must say it came back to me VERY nicely done, Take a look:-

They’re quite hard to find and even when found, they tend to cost a fair bit!!

The rifle has never had high price but if you measure value in accuracy,reliability etc , then you’re onto a winner!!
The Voere I have will ALWAYS be more accurate than I’ll ever be and as long as you feed it the correct ammo then it’ll be more accurate and reliable than many other higher priced semi out there 🙂

Sir, can you please detail how this little rifle is stripped for cleaning, as I do not seem to be able to get this info on line except in German which I do not have.

Certainly Rick,
First remove the bolt underneath in front of the two which hold the trigger mechanism in place.
Then lift out the WHOLE rifle with trigger mechanism still attached(usually easier to push out by pressure applied to underside of trigger guard whilst supporting the stock) . Next unscrew the safety catch housing by turning on the ‘grippy'(for want of a better word) part, don’t worry-it is under slight pressure from spring but nothing to be concerned with, just keep a firm hold of the housing and the rifle.
You can then slide out/off the safety catch housing,bolt spring and the firing pin spring which goes inside the other spring.
Slide the bolt back via cocking handle and then unscrew cocking handle by turning the screw inside the spring loaded cocking handle.
Slide out the ‘bolt’ fully and remove via rear of rifle(you may need to ease it out with something non metal!!) inside that you will see the end of the firing pin which you can pull out and clean seperatly. You can also remove the loading tray just below the breach via the little screw on bottom of rifle.
The trigger mechanism can also be removed via the two bolts but DO NOT strip the trigger action because it’s pretty much sealed but you CAN use an airline to blow out all the crap and then relube very lightly on all visible pivot points etc.
You can also now clean the barrel from the breach end rather than the muzzle end which would/could affect the crowning of the muzzle!!

Guntrader, I found two here . To be honest, I think it would work out just as cheap to buy a whole rifle as it would be trying to track down spare parts for the 1970’s rifle.

You’ll need to browse through sites such as Gunstar and Guntrader or enquire at local gunsmiths/shops. I have never found a second magazine for mine , only complete rifles with magazine but even they’ve never been the 15 shot like I have now , more commonly 5 or sometimes 10 shot. Good luck.

Triple K Magazines now makes the magazine for both German and Austrian Voere 22’s. Kurt at Triple K ‘s Voere is a German 22 . Mine is an Austrian. Mag works in both.
I need a recoil spring if anyone knows where parts are.

jim could you post a pic of the bolt with the extractor?
i inherited the same gun and the extractor is missing,, my gunsmith said he could make one if he had a pic of the extractor

I can post a pic but I’m not sure if it will help much !! I’ll strip down to the bolt but I’m not going to remove the extractor from bolt as it looks a bit fiddly to get back in and I’m gonna need it Friday night for a Timed/rapid fire competetion (round 1) .
